Felicitation of Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games para medallists

India's para medal winners from the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games were honoured at a reception hosted by Union Minister of State Shri B.L. Verma, attended by PCI leadership and Gujarat Chairman Mr. Eluri Sreedhar.
Medallists from the Indian para contingent were felicitated with bouquets and mementos in the presence of Shri B.L. Verma, Union Minister of State for Social Justice & Empowerment and for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and members of the Paralympic Committee of India.
During the reception the Minister extended an invitation to Mr. Eluri Sreedhar for the Amdavad 2030 Commonwealth Games, which Gujarat will host. Para athletics, para swimming, para table tennis, para bowls and para powerlifting are on the Amdavad 2030 programme.
The Chapter congratulates every athlete and coach in the Glasgow contingent, including chief coach Mr. Satyanarayana and the para athletics squad.
